I just purchased a CTX 3030 and I have a question for the pros. I have made a custom mode and I can not figure out how to "Name" it. I have gone through the manual and have found no mention on renaming a mode. For example, to be clear, I want to change MODE 6 to Homestead. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if you can do it on the detector, I always build and name mine in x-change and transfer it to my machine, it is also a lot easier to see and set up that way, also it is saved there. dfly

Thanks for the input. Yep, tried the Xchange and it is awesome. I spent hours last night doing air test with different settings and creating a couple programs.
I am happy to say that today I officially gave the CTX its first attempt and I really think I'm going to like it!! I went to a park that I have pounded with my etrac(s) just to get the feel of the new machine. Thinking that I was on a clad hunt... found a 1919 Mercury dime and several wheat cents!!! The dime was only about 5" deep, but standing vertical on edge and had a RUSTY NAIL in the same hole!!
