Has anyone been watching this amazing show? I caught the preview for next week's episode and it features the CTX, looks very exciting.

Thru the years the curst of Oak Island has been one of the biggest scams ever....

All I can think of is that there may be another way in, who ever designed that place went to extreme lengths to make sure that whatever is in there doesn't wind up in the wrong hands.

well guys if I ever win the Mega Millions, I will fly us all up there to try to dig it out

Yeah! I watched it last night too!...everybody needs a dream and some need a treasure to chase! Like US! :beers:...those coconut husks and the theory of who might have built this was intriguing.... the history of the Knight Templars was interesting too...I think those brothers actually bought the island right? Well, at least they are filming the dig and research so thats something...sort of working the ancient deadman's curse angle a little much..ghosts, evil spirits etc...oh heck, it sells the air time!
Mud

I watched part but they never reiterated what they ar searching for? What's buried? Why? Who? When? Etc??????? They just kept talking about the secret treasure. Never said what it might be? Who put it there or anything. I guess it left me with a bad taste because I tuned in late I missed the whole premis.

No one has ever said what treasures are there or if any treasure at all. It's has always been a guessing game,What,When,Who,Why
The hunt goes on, maybe some day the answer will be known?Just hope no more lives are lost.

I noticed it as well, it was only a split second.
That show does tend to drag bit.

yeah...it sort of dragged like that one guy Jeremy Wades River Monsters show...it takes him an hour to catch the fish in the last 5 minutes! All sorts of filler! Anyway,
I was wondering when those Oak Island guys were going to drag out a coil and give that place a good going over! Like in that bay?

That Gold Rush show is good too...frustrating how much money those Hoffman guys spent going to Guyana and found nothing! I told the wife, they'd a been better off getting some detectors, globe hopping from one resort to the next and hunting gold the way we do! Yes, adventure and treasure...wouldn't take a whole lot of talking for a fellow to go walk about!
Mud.

Hey...
I like Jeremy Wade's show but hate fish...go figure!:clapping:

Its called "entertainment". Its like watchingt the shows on bigfoot or others. If you think your going to see bigfoot on the episode.....its not going to happen. You would see it on the news or net first. If youve got nothing else to watch....why not?

Im thinking if there was something there it is long gone... The story has always been one of my favorites ...
I just can't believe that it could ever been as deep as they have dug in the past..

Dang it I missed it last night, but a week or two ago it was on, then we saw "previews" of the upcoming show, so maybe that's what I missed. I think I recorded it though. I read about this mysterious treasure years ago and was fascinated by it so when I saw it on tv it was a lead pipe cinch I was going to watch it. I enjoyed what I saw and the mystery of it all, but like everyone else, it just leaves so many questions unanswered as to who could have gone through so much effort and trouble and with what technology!? If it was done hundreds of years ago and people with in the last 50 years and up to today with all the technology we have now why can't this be figured out. Still, it is an amazing story, but like others said, watching all the filler to get to the good part of the show makes it drag on.

You can watch the first two episodes by going to the History Channel website and I believe they are on Youtube, as well. (For the powers that be: I hope this doesn't qualify for posting other links, since they aren't links. If so, I will be more than happy to remove the references)

Nobody ever thinks....maybe whats buried there is better LEFT buried there.
