I would like to no the weight of the detector i have one on order for me from the local dealer but my wife detect with me she using the 705 ex-terr right now i would like to place a order for her if its not to heavy for her. from what i have read on the detector is that it well balanced but if it to heavy for her its to heavy and she can keep using the 705,
 
Talk about balance all you want, but at the end of a 5 hour hunt your body will know it was dragging around 5.2 pounds. Today I walked over a mile down a trail to get to a site I wanted to hunt. I was glad my detector only weighed 3 pounds instead of 5.2 pounds. And after 4 hours of hunting I was extra glad it only weighed 3 pounds since I was now very tired and still had to walk a mile to get back to my car.
