CTX 6" coil, silver, wheat and clad

SE-5

New member
It' been a while since I had time to get out. Bought the 6" coil from Bart (typical excellent service, price, and quick shipping) and gave it a test run today. Went to an area I hunt a LOT and dug some clad, some junk, some more junk, a 1940 wheat and a then that wonderful sound of silver at 7", there it was smack dab in the center of my plug.... a 1954 rosie. Going this weekend with a friend to some areas that have never been hunted, his first time out and he'll be using my ATP. Damn this hobby is still just fun and exciting as the day I started! Gotta give my WONDERFUL wife credit, between motorcycles and MDing she never complains.... when the weather is good I'm either riding or detecting. I usually get 20 - 25K miles a year on the bikes and spend a lot (too much) time with this hobby. Lucky for me, the ATP fits in the tour pack of my Ultra so when I'm on the road so is a detector!

good going on the silver rosie!
I', with you on always having a tector with you, I carry one behind the seat of my truck always!
