I just ordered my CTX yesterday ( yay!
) and I feel pretty comfortable with what I was able to teach myself here and other places and I'm ready to get it and GO as soon as it gets here.
One of the last areas I'm still working on is the discrimination. I'm coming from a CZ-3D so I have nothing to compare. Can anybody tell me why ( and the reason ) you might have the ferrous trash discriminated at the bottom ( obvious -I know that ), but ( and this is the question ) have one line of discrimination ( or a block ) of discrimination in another part of the screen? Is it because that's where target trace pinpointed some unwanted signals and you are basically discriminating them one pixel at a time until you eliminate known trash --or something totally different?
Any links to read would be awesome.
Thanks.
Dave
