CTX info wanted

Dan(NM)

Well-known member
Is there a good source(video or posts) that explains the when and why of using....low trash, high trash, ground coin or ferrous coin options on the CTX, pros and cons....my soil in TX appears to be pretty benigned compared to NM. Thanks.

At the risk of sounding harsh, I've seen some people offer advice on those youtube channels, that I've found is in accurate info, so I would consume all info but take it with a grain of salt. It seems like if they have a channel they are automatically a professional.

With that said, there is a ton of excellent info, but domt remember any off the top of my head that gets imto the details of those specific settings ( How and Why).

Where you CAN fimd that info is from Andy Sabisch's books. Personally i think its a must read. I had one for the Etrac, and bought one for the CTX when I bought it. Yeah there will be sections covered that is info thats already out there, but some excellent depth in his books.

Reminds me of the scene in Ferris Buellers Day Off when they’re leaving the car at the Cubs parking ramp....
Attendant....”Relax! I’m a professional!”
Cameron....(under his breath) “ A professional WHAT?”

Dan, go to the Minelab Treasure Talk site and look at “Target Separation-More Than a Random Choice” by Randy Horton.
