CTX v1.0 vs v2.0

I bought a CTX a few years ago. The shaft and housing were constructed of wide carbon fiber weaves.
I bought another CTX recently, the one that has a new battery seal and arm cuff. I was surprised that the
newer CTX is constructed from tighter weaved carbon fiber. Does anyone know if this an improvement
in strength?

Think ..Its just where they get the Carbon Fiber...Have E-trac rods like that too!
