Cufflink

I am pretty sure it is late 1700-ealry 1800s just not sure if it is military, civilian, or what? Also pulled from this site has been a war of 1812 pewter script I infantry button, musket balls, flat buttons,ect.. there is a foundation of bricks unknown as to if it was a fort or house. Items found at the location point to military but a few finds also point to house. Toss up there too... Any info would be great! Thanks!

I had it confirmed to be a British Navy circa 1790-1820.
