Customizing your DEUS Coil..?

I'd fire off an e-mail to the tech department at XP before I got too carried away with painting the coils , especially on a Deus. Paint can be a good conductor of electricity and will also smooth out the surface on your coil , both of which could be sources of static electricity and possible EMI. Proceed with caution. I know I had a hair brained idea to paint the distributor cap on an old truck once and it made it misfire like crazy.

Chrome paint? :lmfao:

I BET there went the warranty! Looks cool though nice job.

No need to paint. There's a dipping process that will get this done for you, with many options. Used on bows and guns very commonly.

These coils look great! Nice "upgrade", Donny_nj!
