Here's my Louisiana CW display so far. I go to the area to visit the family each year and sometimes get in some detecting. Most of these finds came from the Red River campaign. And the large disks are souvineres from the annual Shrimp & Petroleum Festival.

The middle bullet is a 71 cal, the biggest one used there. A 69 cal is next to it.

Here's a complete collection of the Josephine plantation, given to me, not dug. A distant relative lived there after the war and had them which he gave to me. steve in so az

Very nice displays and you will be able to add more to your CW one when you and Nancy move to Louisiana where you can have more :detecting: time! Nice Josephine plantation tokens....they look like new! May God keep on blessing you both! Amen! Ma Betty

71 cal bullets are big hog bullets! Nice display!

I would like to see the gun that shoots such a large caliber.
I would NOT like to pull the trigger as it would no doubt knock my arm off my shoulder. LOL
I guess the amount of powder backing the wad would be large to propel that much mass.
NICE FIND!

..........I seen a deer once that got shot with .30 caliber rifle,30/06,I believe...................Hole going in was about 1/2";hole going OUT,I could just about get both my FISTS into the hole-And thats not EVEN CLOSE to a .71 caliber bullet:sadwalk:
