General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

CZ-21 for sale--Reduced Price

This is an original CZ-21 I bought from my local dealer in April 2008. The machine is in excellent shape and perfect working order. The machine has very low hours on it as I used my other CZ-21 in most places.
The machine was sent into the factory in November 2009 to have the updated housing placed and to recalibrate the machine. I also had Fisher adjust the gain for me, as I like to run my machine hot. This machine might be too hot for saltwater use.
Sold with the machine are a brand new coil cover, extra battery compartment gasket, extra plastic bolt and nut for coil and manual.
The armrest is not original to the unit. There is one rubber pad missing from the one side of the armrest.

The cost is $625.00 plus $25 for shipping and handling. Insurance is extra.Paypal and money orders accepted. Personal checks have a 1-week waiting period.

I'm interested in a CZ-21 , but I'm confused by your statement about having the housing replaced in 09 ......If the machine was a new CZ-21 in 2008, why would you have to have the housing replaced in 09 ? ..... Can the gain adjustment be done at home or does it have to be sent to Fisher ? ...... I'm asuming that it falses a lot around salt with the gain so high ? Thanks for your time ....Sincerely, Jim
 
Hey Jim. The 21 sold today. If you remember somewhere around 09 fisher was changing their housings over to eliminate the 2 led lights. The unit I have still had the leds.Shortly after I bought it 2 of the internal pots croaked in it and I had to send it back. And so while they had it; it was still under warranty and they replaced the case with the new cases they now have.Minus the 2 led lights.Turning up the gain I had them do because I dont work in salt.I strictly work the fresh water and wanted to run hotter.I believe that adjustment is best done by the factory. Unless you really know your way around the inside of the 21.I believe there is more than just turning the gain pot. Thanks for inquiring, Steve
