I recently purchased a cz70, after asking on this forum for input. Thank You Dan and Mike and everyone else. Like I said in my original post I have been Metal detecting for 25 years. I have used Whites, Garrett, Bounty Hunter, but never a Fisher (don't know why). I have to honestly say This by far is the best metal detector I have ever owned. In the Two weeks I have had this metal detector I have found 4 Mercs, 3 IH's, 4 Buffs, one Liberty Half dollar, One washington Quarter (194:geek:, 2 rings, and so many wheats I stopped counting. Now if any Newbie out there is interested in getting a great detector, I can say, listen to these guys in this forum the cz70 pro is what they say and more. The quarter I found was buried with a rusty nail, at 5", the mercs all 4"-4.5", the Buffs 5"-6" The IH's 5". I also found a 1862 Napolean III Emperor coin at 6". I hope to someday learn to post pics on here so I can show my finds. Thanks again everyone.

Mark, it warms my heart to hear that. I was sure you would love it. Amazing, isn't it? I had some hot spots I had done very well at with my first machine, a Garrett GTAx 750. I had hunted them many times. When I got my Whites DFX I hit them again and it was like I was hunting them anew. And I "cleaned them out" again. When I got my CZ-70 I went back to these same sites and hit them again and again and I'm still finding stuff.
As I've said before, if I had to choose one machine and one only, it would have to be the CZ-70.

Using CZ's of one model or the other since 92 and trying a bunch from other companies have to say when I hang up my boots a CZ will go down as my favorite.
Many good detectors out there but for user friendly depth a tough machine to beat..

Like you, I bought a CZ-70 on the recommendations of guys on the forum. Boy am I ever glad I did! It has almost paid for itself in clad found and more than paid for itself in enjoyment! I hope you get as much pleasure out of youe CZ as I do! Happy Hunting! BTW, Mike and Dan are the go-to guys with questions, They have helped me immensely!
