when did fisher quit using the logo fisher{m-scope} on the cz 20 or do they still use it.cz20 with that logo is it a true cz20.I am looking at one and wandering how old it is.any help would be appreciated. thanks Mike

Well the original CZ20 had pinpoint button problems and heard some horrow stories about prices Fisher charges to repair the 20 model if it goes down. The new Fisher instituted the CZ21
several years ago and replaced it with the CZ21 so its a least several years old. I really don't know the answer to your question but a call to Fisher with the ser# ought to tell you its age..Buying a used water unit is a gamble for sure as if it ever leaked especially in saltwater the savings would be quicly eaten up with repair. Heck the one your looking at may last for years but the above should be taken into consideration..

I have a cz20 quicksilver and it works on land nd on saltwater perfectly, but the minute i submerge it in salt water it is non-responsive. I thought my wiring had a short or something so i had it checked out, an it does not. so i detached the unit from the pole. It must be seawater grounding problem of some sorts because the unit does not leak or anything and the minute you submerge the whole unit it stops functioning. 1/2 way and 3/4 submerged it will work, i cant figure out what is causing this. Please help?

What if only the face plate gets wet? Wonder if there is a bad control pot, switch or the pinpoint?
