Cz21 Problems

Ground balancing is impossible on my CZ21. I have had it for over two years and haven't used it but a few times. Instead of a steady threshold hum, all I get is static so it does not ground balance and gets little depth. Any suggestions would be helpful. Maybe it's me or the machine is defective

CZ-21's don't give a real smooth steady hum. The threshold is more uo and down (eratic sounding) and they're all pretty much different. (some are hot, some are not) What kind of depth are you getting on a dime air testing in discriminate mode ? (away from interference as much as possible). In my area it didn't matter much where the ground balance was set . Depth was about the same.

Mine is just static and never changes, even at sens 1. Unable to GB either way pinpoint or bobbing

Doesn't sound right. If you're in autotune you shouldn't hear a threshold at sensitivity 1. On most 21's you usually don't hear a threshold until sensitivity is increased to 7-8 or higher. Like I say, it varies a little between machines. How is acting in discriminate mode ? It's not stuck in pinpoint mode is it ?
