CZ5/CZ3D 5 vs 8 digit serial numbers, etc

Good Morning CZ users.....If someone is interested in a CZ 5 for instance..... Does it make any difference if the CZ serial codes are in the 5 digit category or in the 8 digit category ( i.e. 1021/ 1121 starting 4 of 8 digit numbers)? The 5 digit serial numbers seem to have the white lower rod where as the 8 digit have the black lower rod. What is the difference in performance? Does/Can the 5 digit serial number detectors perform, balance, and detect as deep as the 8 digit? Any thoughts you might have would be appreciated. Edit

Thank you

The CZ's with the white lower shafts are the oldest also the CZ with the big ground balance knobs are older and these are most of the time the deepest from my experience. as far as s# I'm not to sure.

5 digit are older models....all depends on tuning relative depth but older units usually test deeper, but all go deep in ground where it counts...
