cz6a plug

Might trying a post on the classifieds..or perhaps Keith Wills at Brokendetector.com. Even in the early 90's this plug from the original CZ6 would not be replaced by Fisher as a lots of them failed and Fisher usually advised to change the unit to a CZ6A with a 5 pin plug. Certainly not into electronics but this was a molded type and imagine would have to be a factory or tech minded individual to change one..I doubt if Fisher has any but sure worth a try as to change your unit in 2008 to a A unit is quite expensive and cost prohibitive as its a 16 year old unit...Recently contacted Fisher for battery packs for a 10 year old CZ7 and although they did not stock they gave me the name of the company originally bought from and I was able to contact them and bought two packs as with plastic packs one never knows when they might fail so that is a thought as perhaps these plugs can be purchased from the original supplier...if Fisher can supply same....
