Day#5 after surgery:"Nerves I never knew I had -:veryangry:......."

This morning,got up,felt like Id just had surgery a couple hours ago-STIFF,EVERY nerve in that area ALIVE AND WELL,and muscle spasms-All part of the healing process,I guess.THATS OK-I got my 6 string out last night,played!!!!!!!!!!!SPEAKING OF MUSIC:I was talking to our New Pastor at Church yesterday,heard she played the GUITAR!!!Her husband then told me"She plays the banjo,too"I then almost SHOUTED-"Five String Bluegrass???"She said"YEP!!!"................I then said"IVE BEEN WAITIN 30 YEARS TO PLAY WITH A BANJO PLAYER-CAN YOU PLAY "DUELING BANJOS" ON THAT THING"???She said "YES-but I MUST make it plain,I HATE that movie""!!!!(ME,too-the last 3-4 times I have watched it was only the 1st 45 minutes,just for the banjo/guitar piece-turned it off after that..... ).......I told her I cut my eye-teeth on that kinda music,way back in the 70's................CAN Y'ALL BELIEVE IT???ANOTHER of my prayers have been answered-A BANJO PLAYER-5-STRING BLUEGRASS,NONE THE LESS-IN MY CHURCH???FOR GOOD???............"Im in Heaven/Im in Heaven/And it thrills me so that I can hardly speak/.".................

You not speak wg Steve?? You must be really thrilled!! Just kidding and I am so glad for you and the church congregation, as I like Blue Grass music, too, and to have more instruments being played in the services will move God's Spirit and bless you all with His goodness and mercy as His glory shines down upon ya all! God is good and is good all the time to His good and faithful Children who are willingly serving Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty
