DD coil for Teknetics Mark 1

Is there a DD coil for this machine?
No!
None was every made for them that I ever heard of, in those days there wasn't a big aftermarket supply of coils.

The most likely possibility would be the oldest Whites version of the a DD might ??? be adaptable and that's a shot in the dark.
I know that around the time of the Mark I you could get an adapter cable for the Whites coils of that day, which were models like,
The 5000 Di series 2
The 6000 Di
These were the older blue box models not the black sox ones.
In those days whites didn't make or use DD coils either, but later on they did, what I don't know is how far back a whites DD coil will work.

I have a White's Coinmaster 5000, series 3. I once borrowed a buddies White's Eagle II (c.1990) and the flat donut coil on it worked on my old Coinmaster. That was a black box White's machine. I wonder if there were DD coils for White's in the 1990's?

Forum member "duggr" might know, he was pretty big on the Mark I not to long ago, he's a great guy.

use some of the 6.59 kHz White's coils on those early Teknetics models. However, "back then" White's search coils were different and not compatible with the latter 6.59 kHz models that used the Blue Max series of search coils. Early in the Blue Max series there still wasn't a Double-D made by White's for the Blue Max series models, but they did later make a 4X6 Shooter elliptical Double-D coil for them. Sadly, it was a wimpy, terrible performer and the round Blue Max 350 coil [size=small](measuring about 4
