DD search coil for Gamma 6000

Hello!

What search coil would you prefer between:

1) The 11" DD Teknetics coil
2) The 12x10 SEF Detech coil
3) The 12x13 NEL Tornado coil

I selected these types of coil because the price is similar and I want a coil bigger than 8" concentric, with better separation of trash, slight better depth and still good discrimination...

Can someone help me?

11 " DD coil is hard to beat! 10" concentric is even better!

Personal opinion. I have to agree with Bart.........the First Texas 11" coil is awesome........I just can't see spending the extra money for the NEL/Detech coils. Don't see the justification for the cost of the NEL. Of course it really depends on what you need in a coil. If the little extra depth from the the larger Detech is useful to you.....then by all means.....purchase it.
Forgot to add.....I use the Omega......all 3 factory coils.

On some site, the price of the Detech SEF 12x10 is the same of the Fisher F5 11" DD so I think I will try the SEF, I will wait for a good used 11" DD and maybe I will buy a 9,5" DD sharpshooter... I don't think to buy a 5" because is too small and requires too time to scan big fields...

Thank you Monte, I hope to solve my issues with Gamma and a new coil, I will try the 10" elliptical and the teknetics 11" DD, actually I bought the SEF 15x12 to test it against the other coils in high mineralization soils, and after I will buy some other coil....

I realize this is a bump from the past, but does the 10" elliptical perform better than the 11 DD?

I have the BH Platinum which is dangerously close, but not quite the same as your 6000. I upgraded to the Fisher f5 11" dd coil and it does help my machine on depth. My id seems to be more accurate also. The 8" coil that came on the machine will pinpoint better, and is a touch lighter. I also like bigger area coils for the way I hunt, and am looking into a 12 x 13 NEL coil. I think I will wait to see if you like your SEF coil. please send feedback when you get it.
