DD Stock coil vs. Concentric

For those of you who have both the 8 1/2 x 11 double D stock coil and the concentric coil which do you prefer and why? I don't recall the size of the concentric coil off the top of my head but the larger one.
Thanks
Sam

In low, mineralized soil, the concentric coil wins hands down. It gets great depth, greater ID capability capability, audio to help judge a targets depth and easier pin-pointing a target when using the inner coil. DD coils punch deeper in mineralized soils, but read bottle caps as coins. I much prefer using a concentric coil, especially when hunting for coins and jewelry.

Thanks John. I live in Midwest Illinois and I've been told that the mineralization around here is not bad. I may have to purchase one of the concentric coils.
