seen this hanging pretty low to the ground in the front yard area, turned chicken to detect much lol

when I was a kid, about 11-12 years old, my nephew about a year younger, what time we were not fighting, we played together a lot, we seen this big hornet nest, i talked him into throwing a rock at it, as he was walking closer to the nest, i took off for the house on a run, later he came to the house, had about 7 stings on his head and face, we almost fought over that too. lol

I threw a huge stick at one once and started running. I was about 150 feet away when I felt the sting on my shoulder. I learned on line that they are attracted to movement and will chase you a quarter mile if they are pissed! Needless to say no more stick throwing from me.
