Deep History

The Lost Ring

Well-known member
One of my dive buddies found it. Both are in the same bay. Under rocks in shallow water. Found one with ex2 and the other with Deus2. I wanted to share with you. It is called the "Byzantine Pit" in Türkiye. The more obvious one is VII.Michael 1070. We're investigating the other.

An alloy called "ELECTRON" and used in coins. Electron or white gold is an alloy obtained by mixing gold and silver in certain amounts. 75% gold and 25% silver or palladium are added to 18 kt white gold. In yellow gold, other elements such as copper were added instead of silver and palladium. It is usually pale yellow or yellowish white in color.

In short, these are gold coins.

Awesome finds in great condition also!
