Deepstar 2 Coil

Eric did you produce a larger coil than the stock 11.5 inch for the Deepstar ?
What is the situation on replacement coils or coil cable repair ? After many years of hard use I've had to trim the wires at the control box end back to good wire but the next section is now taking the strain of repeated flexing.

Hi Brian

11in was the standard size coil for the Deepstar. I once tried making a 15in but was not happy with it. I think now with better wire and shielding, it could be done, but then I have only one shell left. 11in standard coils are still available, and it may be possible to re-cable your existing one, as long as the last 6in down near the coil is OK.
