Thinking about selling my Vista Gold, a fella asked me what generation is it. How does one know. Thanks!

The older models falsed when you bumped the coil and the dials/knobs didn't have the pointer they had a line on the knob.
 
[size=large]All the detectors that I have had fall into that category.. Complete change on how those coils were done then... The coil windings are now sealed in an epoxy that prevents any movement at all... They are more stable now, run the sensitivity higher and zero problem with submersion of the coil. Richard[/size]
