So when I was testing this coil I came across this large piece of coke, I started off with my normal level of discrimination what is 15 and caught this cracking signal, maybe a little whiskey on the edge but I would say 97% bang on a good signal.
I started to raise the discrimination until the point the target started to split from a high tone to low tone and this piece of coke was giving a low tone at 31-32 on the discrimination what is the maximum I would care to use here in the UK.
Always use as little discrimination as you dare, this will give you the best chance of finding as many items as you can, if in doubt dig it out !
