Deleon and 5.75 coil

I have a deleon which I find very sensitive. In a park I hunt I find more clad and silver {Canadian} than I do pennys. When I hunt with my Vaquero with the 9x8 coil I find a lot of pennys and few clad and silver. Funny Thing, I tryed the 5.75 widescan on the V and it helped a lot, ratio of clad to pennys came up a lot. I also have an older whites classicII which seems on par with the V in the park. Back to my question, I know that the Deleon is set to the 8x9 coil, will the 5.75 work on the Deleon without having to get it reset? If it works is there an improvement over the 8x9? Also concentric or widescan for the D? Thanks for reading, Vaughn in Nova Scotia

Probably will work okay. May, or not, be optimal without being tuned. Try it and if you are getting decent depth, you're good to go. The 5.75 concentric works fine on my D in the areas I usually hunt.

Yoy wont be able to use the Vac 5" coil on the DeLeon as they have different plug connections on the detectors. I have used a 5' coil with my DeLeon and it is great in trashy areas.
