deleon coil

i got a bit of extra cash was wanting to put a deeper coil on my deleon any ideas i have been working a old carnival s ite from the 1870 to 1930 its in the woods got alot trash some of it is open i aslo got a silver and a tejon all machines have stock coils i do a lot of park hunting as well open aeras just need some advice most of the time my go to machine is deleon some of the carnival finds include a old mason ring 1928 class ring 1925 class ring silver ring a few coins v nicke wheats indian head seated dime standing lib quarter lots of junk and a few old locker tags with the name of the place they in my opinion are perty neat
 
You may be better served with the stock or smaller in order to get through all the trash. I've tried the 10X12 spider on my Deleon and get a bit of falsing using it in my soil. If I were going to use that coil a lot, I'd send detector and coil in to calibrated to each other. As it is, I have several models with manual ground so that's where I'll mount my larger coils if needed.

No, I've never had the opportunity to use the Tejon. However, I know it has manual ground balancing which generally takes care of matching the coil/detector to the ground conditions.
