Have not been out much this past few weeks and when I did get out it was only for a short hunt and did not find much to talk about but a little change. This weekend I was off all weekend so I figured this may be one of the few good weekends left to hunt so I told myself I would hunt til I got tired or found a ring silver or gold. Yesterday I got out around 8:30 and hunted till around 2:00. First stop was a park in a old town nearby I was there for about a hour and found lots of clad then I moved on to a couple of school's I had never hunted here also was lots af clad but no rings. Today I got out about 9:30 and I planned on hitting only tot lots the first one I got to was loaded with clad as usual, the morning was pretty cool so I figured I would have the place to myself for a while I hunted for about an hour before the first people showed up to play in the park, I wrapped it up and moved to another park and another tot lot this one gave up lots of change the last time I was there today was no different. I walked in and around all the equipment the floor of this lot was covered with shredded tires and recovery was easy all I had to do is sweep my foot across the target to expose it. while working the area behind a large-swing set I got a solid silver signal and when I kicked the rubber shards out of the way there sat a huge silver ring. I finished up here and decided I would hit one more tot lot on the way home This lot was empty also when I got there and was almost done when the first few kids arrived this lot had plenty of clad to find too and around noon I called it a day and headed home get some food in my belly with a smile on my face and a ring in my pocket, I sure do like the cleansweep on the DeLeon it makes short work of large areas and delivers the goods.
Here's the weekend's goods
124 pennies
20 nickels
39 dimes
21 quarters
1 Canadian dollar coin
1 Size 11 1/2 925 silver tribal ring
