delete user defined presets

Does anyone know how to delete the user defined presets on the safari? If I hold the power button down for 3 seconds it loads the factory defaults of the factory preset's only. It does not get rid of the user defined settings.

Thanks for any help, Tom

Hi Tom, after reading your post I tried what you said and the Safari reverted to only the preset programmes and deleted my custom programmes which I believe is supposed to happen.
If you are trying to clear the user settings and it doesnt do it automatically you will have to delete them individually and re programme to the discrimination settings you want.
I dont know if this is a fault in your machine but once you can re programme manually it shouldnt be a problem. Has it been like this from new? If so contact the store where you bought it
and they may be able to shed some light on his issue.

Doing a reset will not delete the saved programs on my Safari. Only way to do it is overwrite the ones you don't want with new settings.

Thanks Guys. I am pretty sure my machine used to delete the user defined settings when I did a master reset but now it does not. I got one response that says they should be deleted and another that says that they should not be deleted. I will call Minelab and post what they say.
