DELTA 4000 CAN'T Wait.

New member
Well I'm finally getting back in to Dectecting. And this will be my first Teckie. Should be here any day. Money has been tight but was able to get one from Gettington and can't wait. Hope the weather is good this weekend. I hunt coins and Tot lots etc. Sometimes Galvaston Island. Any tips would be very welcomed

Stay away from power lines, the 4000 goes haywire and you have to lower the sens so you lose depth.
In tot lots don't get too near to the poles because the detector will sens it from far away, lower the sensitivity to get near the poles
In wide open areas like soccer fields, it is awesome. It will hit coins dead on and it is deep. The weight, or should I say the lack of weight, is a blessing to us old f***ts.
It is a great coin machine.

Thanks took it out to a playground at a school about 15 to 20 minutes. 2 pennies 1 nickle 1dime and the usually trash.
Like it a lot.
