delta to the field today

delta ran just fine on thur. at the beach, but today the coil had a little problem, u will see at the end of the video, please comment.

it got fooled some today on many deep targets on the i.d............meaning all the good sounding targets that read in the 80's came out of the ground as 45 to 55 in real life.......and i got lots of practice with it.....this little heater goes pretty deep in the dirt............ran it all metals A2............tried 12 and 11, but ran smoother at 10.

i really like the finger tip controls, i think it will be a GREAT DRY SAND MACHINE FOR SHALLOW CLAD AND OTHER SUMMER TARGETS, my only reason for the purchase and it is LIGHT and good I.D.

more to follow this weekend..............let me know on the coil deal also
thanks

Phone up your dealer, and have them send you out a new coil. Send that one back for exchange. When they send to bad one in, they will get credit for it.

Max,when you move that coil cord...reminds me of those old West telegraph boyz tapping out morse code.

I wish I could help you,but the problem needs to be told to First Texas.

Max, on your video you have a clear plastic cover over the display, where did you get it and is it something you created or made from a document holder? I seem to think that it is something I have seen while in the service. Let me know.

Mike

Among my 12 detectors, I have a Delta 4000. I must say I am quiet impressed with it. So light. All the adjustments I want. And goes quiet deep.......Jack

Thanks for the video's I love it and get a new coil !!:clapping:
