Derringer, musket hammer, 1836 large cent

Had a furlough non-paid day off work yesterday, so I figured I would make the most of it and get out hunting. Went out with my two buddies and two other very experienced diggers.

My buddy found the 1836 one cent in great condition in the first 15 minutes!

I found the derringer hand pistol! It is getting an electrolysis cleaning right now and should come out sparkling! I will post an updated picture after the cleaning.

I also found the hammer to what I think would be an old flintlock musket. We found probably about 20 musket balls in the same area. Lots of cool buttons too.

It was a great day! Hitting a beach tomorrow, hoping for some rings!

Love those large cents! Congrats!
