Got one coming for my MXT (I have a DFX too so gonna try it out on that).
First go round will probably be dry sand hunting on some of the NJ beaches I hunt. May take it down to the wet sand too. My 8x SEF coil on the MXT does very well in the wet salt sand...surprisingly. Got to set up the MXT the right way but it can hunt that stuff. Obviously won't be as deep as my pulse units or my dual freq machines but when I dry sand hunt, the wet sand always calls me and sometimes it's easier to use what I have in my hand then to run back up to the truck !

Reading up on the coil, seems everyone who uses it likes it a lot.
