Detech Chaser Information

Per Detector Electronics, Chaser must be used in above freezing weather. At or below freezing, don't use it. Manual does not include operating and storage range. Some ads for the Chaser list features that at first seemed hard to find. Built in "Help Function" for example. In the various menus, there is some explanatory text, so I suppose that is the Help Function. "One Touch" ground balance is another. GB involves pushing the GB touch pad, bob, then push the Detect pad, so I guess that is "One Touch". A European review labels the bob method of GB as "semi automatic" GB. The Chaser may be automatically adjusting the ground balance, I'm not sure of that. When the weather improves I will venture out on my 13th session with the Chaser and 3rd session using the 7" Ultimate coil. Seems like a keeper so far; I'm still experimenting with various settings.
