:detecting:A NEW OLD BALL FIELD

Went to a 0ld ball field yesterday wasn't finding much but clad. Then the Mayor/ Fire chief stopped by to see how I was doing. He said 2 guys in Town hunt it pretty hard. He pointed to a spot where he said they use to pull in a portable consession stand for football games. He said the morning after games, they would find a lot of change in that area.I started hunting there, It was really trashy, so I went super slow & finally got some silver. The clad quarter with the Nike insignia was kind of a neat find. They done a nice job on it. I never knew there used to be a football field there. The Mayor said it was until early 60s then the school consolidated with another school. I used my 10x12 SEF My 8x6 will be here wed, & I'll be going back. HH every one

Apparently not hard enough! :heh:

Nice finds, Stubbs!! I've never seen a clad quarter with the Nike punched out like that before. I know you're going to like your 8x6. First time out with mine, I found 5 silvers in a heavily pounded area.

Nice finds Butch.
That clad quarter with the Nike insignia cut out is cool.
The 6x8 coil is a good one...and plenty deep.
