Detecting Bag

Anyone use some kind of bag to carry there machine and water scoop in
Looking for a bag to carry my 3030 and water scoop 36in with 6-8 in bucket
Will be going to beaches on my bike
If you do use something can you include the size

Check at your local 2nd hand store for carrying bags.I have found numerous bags big enough for assembled detectors and/or long handle tools.A while back I found two bags large enough to hold a detector plus there are two zipper side pouches on each one.Cost me $4 for the two.

I use a fanny pack. Cheap with a few different zippered pockets. My car keys in put in the safest one.

I use handlebar rifle holders for the CTX. For the scoop, I bungee the scoop head to a rear rack and double bungee the handle to the frame below the bike handlebars. I double bungee the front so if one breaks the scoop handle will stay put. It could be a messy crash if the handle drops and catches the ground. Since your scoop is only 36", you could just put it with the CTX on the handlebar.

LOL, didn't read your question well, I don't think a fanny pack will work well for you.

Try using a pvc tube the width of the scoop handle and mount it vertically to the bike along the seat and rack. That way its behind you and you wont have to worry about it dropping.
