Detecting Business Card

Guest
Has anyone made themselves a business type card to hand out when asking permission to detect a residence or private land? I have MS Office Publisher 2003 to use. I want to just put my detector picture on it and name, address, e-mail etc.
I have Avery Business cards to print them on.Thanks

I have made some up using MS. Publisher. Simple to use and you can change the color scheme to match your personality.

It's a great idea. I'm a graphic designer and work for a printing company. I've made several different cards and have had them printed when we print other business card jobs. I usually put my name and contact info on them. I've found they help break the ice when talking to property owners. Good Luck!

I've used VistaPrint for a number of different cards including ones' for my MD club. Only costs SH. Click on the link below, and then go onto thier site via the "free business cards" link on the upper left hand corner of thier home page. Easy from there. Just type in the info you want printed on card, like "Metal Detecting Services" and your address, etc. Toughest part is selecting a color background! (I went with lighthouse design).

Here,s a card I printed on my home computer using Printshop 5. Simple and to the point.I was going to put coins, relics, etc.but it makes it sound like I'm trying to sell something, and that turns a lot of people off.I printed a release on the back. Then all I have to do is sign it if need be.I,ll post the back in a different post. I know this type of info can be important, but do you think it could scare a property owner? <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?">

Possibly, thats why I printed cards with and without this on the back.I leave this liabilty card in the car until,if, the subject comes up.Sometimes it won't and sometimes it will work. HH Bob

I don't believe incuried is actually a word and it should be incurred. I would consult Mr. Webster before I printed too many <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Here is my wonder card. Two jobs came from it and it has also got my foot into several doors. The new card has the phone # on it.
