It was very wet and man was it COLD not to mention a muddy plowed field. So cold that I told myself my year was great and it's about time to call it quits.... until I got home, put some coffee on, and think where to head to tomorrow. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
I dug quite a few more targets but these are the only ones worth showing. Did manage to get one cropper. (Crusty copper <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">)
Button dates about War of 1812 and I could have saved myself a few hours of chills as it was found in the first 10 minutes. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

No, it's an early brass tack. Diggin these I figure is a pretty good sign as far as hunting buttons go. They aren't much of a signal when in iron and a few inches (or more) deep.
 
was sunny here then the clouds and winds came in and wasnt so nice anymore, still got time tho <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">
 
where did this year go?
i will have to say i had a blast this year with the explorer, and i'm not done yet.
this was my best year in a long time.
