Detecting in the Dells

I'll be staying at the Wilderness on the Lake in the near future. Any suggestions as to where to hunt?

Lake Delton is drained. But I might be careful there. I know the folks who do the water management (weed control, fish habitat and the like) and from what I understand, anything found of ANY value must be reported(?). I thought this might just be a ruse, but he stated that it was possible you may be infringing on some sort of "who finds is not necessarily the one who keeps". I'll see him again later this week and see if he can be more specific. That's all I got. I guess I would hunt, being careful not to be too mouthy about what I found!
BTW I'm from Onalaska. Just a hop-skip-and jump from LaCrosse... Wisconsins west coast.

Hummmmmmmmm Give a littel save a littel I think..button the lip. just my two cents. You did the work to bring out of the ground.Roadking
