Spent the day at a lake detecting the area where a hotel, store and stable were built in 1853. It was abandoned by 1879.
Even though the place has been detected hard and heavy through the years and I have been there many times, I was fortunate enough to find a couple of keepers.
Any info on the items in the video, button, buckle, solid brass shotgun shell casing, will be appreciated.
Could the thing in these photos have been on a powder flask? I think it's copper. Photos of each side of it. Kind of like a floral design on it.
Note, some of the clips in the video are a little hazy because I forget to wipe dust off the camera lenses.
Also note that I changed coils. Both worked well.
