detector pro pulse detector question

Guest
I just received the pulse and asking myself what would be the best ajustment for fresh water hunting. Witch tone should I chose?
Any info on it will help me for my first outing this weekend.
Thanks

Steph: Why don't you drop Gary Storm an email direct to DetectorPro and ask him? I've found him to be very prompt in returning his email correspondance. Good luck this weekend. HH - BJR

Fresh water is great because, unlike salt water, it give no disturbing signal to the detector. You can usually use as much sensitivity as the detector has got, which in the case of the Detectorpro PI, means turning the Frequency control full up.
Sometimes you may get a bit of interference from local low frequency radio stations or power cables, but just a small adjustment of the frequency control often gets rid of this, without unduly affecting the sensitivity.
Let us know how you get on this weekend, and feel free to ask, if you need further help.
Eric.

Thank you for your sugestion. I will hunt this weekend with it and give my report. If I need help I'll email my question at Detector pro

Thank you Mr Foster for answering my post. This detector is new for me . I had try most of the other water detector ( Tiger Shark, Excal 1000, Detectorpro Diver) but this one for what I try got very deep. Can't wait to get to the beach with it. I'll give you my result later.
