Detector Pro Pulse or Garrett Mark II

Anybody know of the operating differences between the DectorPro Headhunter Pulse and the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II. I have been using the Garrett for a little while and always use the belt pouch. I was wondering how it would be to have the weight (considerly less) on my head. would detecting small gold be better or worse?

Slightly, and I say this lightly, I think the sensitivity toward gold jewelry is better on the HH PI.
One does not notice the extra weight on your head with the HH.
Both units are very good, and you wouldn't go wrong with either.
Mr. Bill
Keep this in mind. There is a great difference between the responce of gold, and gold jewelry for any detector.

for your opinion. I think if I get another PI it will be the HH Pulse. But I do like my MarkII plus it was a very low cost. Could you please elaberate on your last statement? What do you mean by " great difference between the responce of gold, and gold jewelry for any detector"

Gold as it is raw is highly conductive.
Gold jewelry is a alloy mix, and the conductivity is low, closer to lead. It makes no difference if it's mixed with silver, copper, it still lowers the conductivity low down the scale.
This is why jewelry hunters say you need to dig all allum. targets to lead targets if you want to find these targets.
