I noticed in Andys book that Bill Paxton and myself has the same rule about learning a new detector. That rule is "never trade or give up on a detector until it has paid for itsself." I think too many people dismiss or give new detectors a bad review without spending the time needed to see their true strength. A lot of you have been doing this a longgggg time, but the new users often dismiss a detector that may be well suited for them based on our quick reviews.
