For more than 20 years detectorists in Sweden have had a hard time getting permission to use metal detectors, even on beaches.
We must have permisson from the state to search even our own back yards. This permission is very hard to get and handling times up to 8 months is normal. Detectorists are called thieves in local newspapers, by people working for the Government.
This has to change!!!
