Finally blowing out my wife's Wader, due to health problems she can no longer water hunt, hasn't in 6 years. And she doesn't like wearing headphones.
I have used this detector on and off for the past 6 years, probably no more than 40 hours worth, would say 15 would be wading in the water.
Most of the hunting was on land.
Has the sensitivity pot mod, new pot that expanded usable range of the sensitivity control. Usually 9-10 is the highest and lowest that was really usable.
Any lower there was a drastic loss of depth. And the 9-10 range was really fine tunable. The new pot expands the 9-10 over the 6-10 range, while the 1-8
range is condensed to the 1-5 range. The pot does not have a waterproof seal below the knob, there is an o-ring below the knob which will keep water out in case a theres a quick dunking.
I have calibrated this Wader for our particular conditions in Canada and to be better than originally was on Canadian clad.
Might be a good idea to have DP recalibrate back to factory specs if using within the USA.
I will include orig. sensitivity pot, waterproof seal and knob. Instructions.
Excellent physical condition, no ear cup cracks, has never been dropped or dunked or used below the waters surface.
Replaced foam earmuffs, so they are not hard.
This Wader is being sold with just the headphone with coil.
I have kept the middle rod and s-handle for another detector project.
Will include lower search coil rod if your willing to pay the extra shipping charge.
Going to sell cheap $125.00US plus shipping
Shipping from Canada to the US
without lower rod $25 to $30 depending upon destination
with lower rod $29 to $34 depending upon destination
Would entertain detector trades, maybe older Tesoro control box and coil -- no need for the s-handle set-up. Tesoro 8x9" and or 7" concentric 5 pin search coils. Headphones (like new), Garrett, White's pinpointer or a combination of good items.
