Got you with my buddy on Saturday here in N. Virginia and had one of the best relic hunting days I’ve had in a few years. I dug a Federal Staff Officer Coat button and my first Virginia 1 piece button -Confederate .
I also dug 3 flat buttons, piece of camp lead, dropped Confederate Merrill bullet and smashed thimble. The VA button cleaned up purty with gold gilt around letters .
My Deus 2 was smoking and I believe the recent XP Deus 2 software update to 3.02 had an impact on better iron separation which had an impact. I was using the General Program but it was hitting this iron infested long ago house site that continues to give up CW relics. Happy Digging
