Deus braves the mud and the iron and gets it done

The mud was unbelievable in Indiana today. My feet grew from 10s to 20s as the boots got engulfed. Saw my hunting buddy narrowly miss a face plant when his boot stuck and he couldn't move. Went back to an old house site that I have hunted with a couple of other detectors. There is plenty of iron here and the Deus managed to get me a few targets. The most interesting the Greek coin from 1869. The holed token is an expiration tag. I can't imagine what expired on that date but the token had no other markings. The bright shiny object at the top of the group is a mother or pearl button. It was amazing beautiful coming out of the ground. It only read about 41 on the vdi. I was hunting Fast, dropped down to 12 and ground balance 3 under pumping value. Glad the weather is getting warmer but ready for the mud to dry up.
