Deus coil battery replacement

New member
Help, i bought a used deus from (I will leave the name blank) hint hint to whom I bought it from and the/coil battery will not hold a charge it had a full charge and I went yesterday for 2 hours and battery was on last bar. I was in 2 TX power. I live in West Tn. What is standard protocol to get it replaced?

Here's my guess,
Depending on the age of the coil it may have either a two or five year warranty on the battery.
Call the XP warranty center and send it in; even if it's off warranty , the cost of replacement shouldn't be prohibitive

Detector electronics, Moe is the guy that works on them.

They will determine by the serial number if out of warranty, I have heard it's in the $50 range to get replaced but don't quote me on that.

I just know all the guys there are great to deal with and very customer oriented.

If they help you out please let everyone know,

Jerry
