Found this silver Trime at a Civil War camp with my Deus using the 9 inch coil and full tones. Judging by the marks crisscrossing in the center I'm not sure if it was halved on purpose or out of boredom. Maybe something just got a hold of it and cracked it. Each half was about a foot and a half apart and around 4 inches deep. I can see why the Deus is popular for hunting hammered coins and the like.

Finding a Trime is a challenge because of size, but finding half of a Trime is Amazing.
And then to find both halves.... WOW
It's like finding both stud earrings.
Congrats on a great recovery.
