Deus Lower Pricing

Actually everyone that owns one just lost money. Very bad move, most detectorists resale at one time or another.

Well it had to happen I guess! Wonder if they have something coming behind it!!!!!

You would think you would see a lot of positive comments concerning the price drop. Look the deus is a very good unit still. Lots have been sold. And remember a company does increase the possibilities of making profits even with reduced detector cost. They are called accessories. The more folks' hands they can get the deus into now, the less chance of a person buying another detector. Make sense??
XP has had it seems a good run with the Deus. How long will it last?? That all depends. And don't forget about future updates. Version 3.2 really advanced the Deus. And all the updates with Deus were smooth. Can't say that about all the other major manufacturers!!! I;m keeping my Deus units. The only reason I would ever get rid of them is another detector with equal or better ergonomics, better performance, and have the software update capability like the Deus already possesses. Cheers.

I'm not planning on selling mine, so right now resell value is not a concern. But it would have been nice to pay a couple hundred bucks less than I payed a few weeks ago.

Thought that I really got a good deal on the used Deus that just arrived today until I saw the new pricing today. Oh well, win some loose some. Am still glad to have one.

You would think the dealers would know that this was going to happen and I would think they get a better cost now also and would hope they would pass that on to you. I really don't care at this point it is a cool machine that is fun to use and yet you have to understand it like you have to be as smart or smarter to get the most out of it. New update will really make it worth what I spent because I understand the machine now and would understand what the update will do..

It went out in an e-mail today from what I was told, Minelab used to do the same thing hust before a new release. This has to do with the dollar vs the euro.

It is not that big of a deal. They lowered the MAP price. Most dealers were selling way under the MAP price anyway. You may see a bit lower price but its not like you are going to get one for $400 less from a dealer.........;o)
